Non-Zero November – Day 29 – Music to My Ears

I don’t really know what to talk about today so instead I’m going to list a few of my favourite songs, in no particular order. These songs are “normal” songs, rather than some of the game soundtracks I listen to – I’ll do these another time.

Lana Del Rey – Young and Beautiful
I first heard this on soundtrack of The Great Gatsby and fell in love with it instantly. It actually lead me to listen to her albums and she is now firmly among my favourite artists.

Parov Stelar – All Night
Here is a link to the song on Parov Stelar’s actual YouTube channel, as the video I am linking is someone else dancing to the song. I heard the song on an advert for a perfume and my friend linked me to it after I asked him. It’s so upbeat and makes me instantly want to dance around.

Jetta – I’d Love to Change the World (Mastubs Remix)
So this song used as the trailer song for Nightcrawler, which I ‘reviewed’ the other day. This song is so dark and sultry and creepy and sends shivers up my spine.

 Vaults – One Last Night
So this is from the Fifty Shades of Grey OST, but that’s not where I heard it. It was on an advert before another YouTube video and it’s just a really easy song to listen to and makes me smile.

The Weeknd – I Can’t Feel My Face
I can just sing along to this song and smile. The lyrics are a tad worrying and the video is bizarre, but it’s just a good song.

I know these songs aren’t exactly new, but it’s what I’ve been enjoying lately and I thought I’d share. To be honest, just go and listen to the entire Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack – it’s all brilliant. There are quite a few films that I enjoy the soundtrack to but have never actually seen the film itself.

Bonus Track:

Gabriella Lindley and Hobbie Stuart – Love Me Like You Do
This song was performed by two YouTubers and is a cover of Ellie Goulding’s song. I absolutely the harmony of their voices, and they’re both incredibly talented people.
